What you think about can either be productive and useful, or filed away to the neverlands of the mind. If you are going to work toward a goal to get your body to a healthier state, or to feel your best ever, you must first build the bricks by starting with a stronger mindset.


YOUR MIND IS YOUR STRONGEST ASSET...SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO "TRICK" IT INTO CHANGE.


There is no getting around it...Your #mind is so powerful, and if it becomes lazy, disinterested, or stops wanting to pursue what your body needs it creates a tug-of-war and a host of other issues within you. If this happens to you, you may want to try tactics that shake up your same ‘ol, same ‘ol routine that keeps you stuck where you are.

You can start right away by incorporating things into your daily routine that focuses on mindfulness, stress relief, philosophy, spirituality, music, dancing, art, cultural learning...anything related to self-growth and self-expression.


HERE ARE 5 TIPS TO GET YOU GOING:

This really is incredibly simple. Set your mind to plugging this

  1. Start your day 30 minutes earlier, especially if this is very difficult for you. Get out of your comfort zone! You will feel more productive in the beginning of your day just by adding this #discipline. It’s amazing how breaking the daily #routine to incorporate a little more time will do to dramatically change the course of your life path.

  2. Meditation or prayer. This is an invaluable life tool. It allows you to empty your thinking mind and upload #clarity. It is an excellent time to practice appreciation and gratitude for anything you want. Just let your heart speak for you.

  3. Listen to motivational or educational YouTube videos that inspire you. Every day, choose a video that resonates with you. I choose one up to 20 minutes long and listen to it while I put my makeup on.

  4. Get your heart rate up. 20-30 minutes of aerobic activity per day boosts your endorphins, releasing natural feel good chemicals, including more oxygen to reach the brain revitalizing our energy for hours.

  5. Once per week, don't let technology own you. Go out in nature, listen to music, play an instrument, write, paint, or draw...just put your attention on something that allows you to use your creative mind and disconnect from artificial intelligence. This is a healthy outlet for our soul, which can lead to a more grounded state of mind.


COMMITMENT IS KEY TO RESULTS


Be well aware that you must be willing to officially commit to a new routine. If you have difficulty adhering to a protocol that you, a coach or mentor establish for you, then you are not truly ready for change. Without committing to something, we stay the same. Our purpose in life is to evolve, move through ups and downs, and how we cope with our definition of survival reveals something about us. The more you develop your mind and soul, the stronger you become.
